During this period in 2013, the top three channels were City42, Geo News and HUM TV. Comparing the channel significance during prime time, 8xm channel continues to enjoy the top position followed by News One and Apna TV. The top 3 channels last year during prime time remained City42, Express Ent and HUMTV. 24 hours are split into 6 major time slots with Prime Time enjoying the highest share of advertising at 29% followed by Afternoon at 27% and Morning at 18%. All three combined takes the 74% of total advertising minutes’ share.
